When I Am Gone is a story-driven VR game woven together by real-life human memories which have been preserved aboard an orbiting space station in the early 22nd century.
You are the last remaining human aboard the Orbital Museum Of Civilization. It’s now up to you (and your trusted, robot sidekick) to explore the museum, collect clues, hack into human memories, and solve a puzzle that can prevent humanity’s extinction.
Using your Bio-connected Hand Interface, you can access thousands of preserved memories, collected from a diverse population, and experience a mind-bending narrative that connects us all.

Thank you tiffbrown! We've talked about building it out more. In fact, there is an unfinished memory (from 2020) hidden on the lower ring level. It wasn't completed for our LaunchPad submission deadline, so I ended up blocking the stairwell down and keeping the player on the upper section only. One day, I'd love to have an entire collection of different memories for players to explore!
Thanks Glokthar! For this current vertical slice, I had a time limit of 5-6 minutes, so I worked to make it move quickly. The next build will start to introduce more memories and rooms to explore!
